            TripAdvisor were founded by Steve Kaufer, Langley Steinert, Nick Shanny and Thomas Palka. It is an online travel site founded in 2000.

            After doing this startup he started Glassdoor.com

            The idea of this startup is when they wee being frustrated by he lack of unbiased, useful information for travelers so hey decided to create a site that is on the web.

            The particular problem that this startup encountered is in the sales and marketing and business development because they didn’t have any takers.

            People used Trip advisor because people need more information about destinations, hotels, and attractions which is offered by TripAdviser.

            The impact of their company in history of internet is that it is an online travel company. The content of the information is in the web and they let the users to contribute their personal review regarding the destinations, hotels, and attractions.

            The unique thing about this startup is when people can give their views about TripAdvisor.

            It would be possible in a third world country, but there should be a people like them who are willing to do this kind of startup up. In addition it can also promote tourism in such different countries.

Things that I learned:

            From this startup I learn that ideas of us can turn in to a business like starting a company.

I also learn that the founder of this startup never thinks of quitting and now he’s a successful one

            From the founders view I learn that you need to know someone before joining them.

I also learn that you don’t need to be afraid in doing a lot of mistakes.

Another thing is not to get attached to the vision that you have because things changes.
