In 1989 he was working at apple and shows a system where it had a video and resources on it. It was a big Prototype but there wasn’t a hard disk big for video. Quick time came out and works on it, they took it and develop it and became a product. Then he worked at General magic and work on how to make inexpensive delivery system for television interactive. He also worked on games and video. General Magic release magic TV, he work full time in their company but the company run out into financial difficulties so he decided to move unto another thing. He decided to start a company compounded with three people. It made a modem for video games that would modify the execution of the game. In this thing people could play games over the phone line.
In 1995, Steve tested his inventory that the web could look good on TV screen. Then he built a thin client for surfing the web, by using a television as a display.
After the first prototype, Sony and Philips sold the first WebTV to the public.
In 1997, web TV which is now called MSNTV was bought by Microsoft for over $500 million.
Things that I learned
From this startup up I learned that having a passion on work and liking what you do is one thing of achieving what you want.
I also learned that we need to work hard on everything that we do.
