This system is an account cannot use more than a certain amt. some of the people working on this project was undergraduates or graduate students. Dan and Bob continue their friendship for 25 years. They start a company with their own money from their work. They start it from their basement of in need in it in business school. Before creating the prototype, Bricklin really wanted a mouse because there was no mouse Apple II.
They deal with personal software but they ended up having problems so they decided to deal with visicale this another publisher model was shown to public at the national computer conference. This application involves ability to copy a cell with absolute, lotus design 1-2-3 ran 256 or 128k but it is said that you have an extra disk for it 1-2-3 came out there were lot of question like it have commas in number dollar signs before the number. It has dollar sign but not the commas.
The big deal they faced is when 1BM came to them and ask if visicale will be visible to 1BM PC and started advertising like Apple. From then they start to have a multi-million dollar deals. From the head of 1 BM who is Don Estridge, was amaze on what Bricklin make a make to different kinds of people. Every one have regrets like Bricklin. They had been able to settle in advance. Bricklin and Bob did a lot of disagreement but it didn’t became a hindrance for them to success. Lotus end up buying Bricklins company due to bankruptcy. They sell it to Mitchell Kapor. He is a colleague of Bricklin. They tlak to him as an advice of their business partner. They know that Kapor knew everything that was happening to their company. They didn’t take the risk of selling everything to someone who is not deserving. Even it is their last choice they want it to give o someone who will take care of it.
